The Albany County Public Library’s Outreach Department offers monthly deliveries to patrons at local retirement communities as well as home deliveries to individuals who are unable to come to the library due to age, pregnancy, disability, injury, or illness. We will deliver any materials the library has to offer right to your front door! Deliveries take place during the first three Thursdays of the month between 12pm-1pm.
Current Delivery Locations
1st Thursday of the Month – Regency Retirement Residence & Laramie Square Apartments
2nd Thursday of the Month – Ivinson Home for Ladies & Edgewood Spring Wind
3rd Thursday of the Month – Eppson Center for Seniors & Home Deliveries
When you apply for this service, you will be placed on this schedule. We will talk with you about your interests, favorite books/movies, genre likes/dislikes, and how many materials you would like to receive so that every month’s selection meets your requests. You can also give us specific requests and we will do our best to bring them in your next delivery!
