Meeting Rooms

The library has two meeting spaces available for rent to the public

Large Meeting Room

Your meeting must be open to the public and will be advertised. The meeting room will be rented to groups only, not to individuals. The conference room can be rented to individuals. Closed events may be approved for personnel or other confidential meetings.

Food served to the public must be prepared in, or purchased from licensed facilities (store bought items are fine). A temporary food license may be obtained from the City of Laramie.

Maximum capacity: 228 people with chairs, 106 people with tables & chairs

Dimensions: 39′ x 41′

Hours/Days of Use: 

If your program begins when the library is closed, you will need to pick up a key when the library is open during normal business hours.

  • Thursday 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Meeting Room Rental Fees

  • Governmental Organizations – FREE
  • University Groups – $7.50 an hour
  • Not-for-profit Organizations – $15 an hour
  • Private Groups or Organizations – $30 an hour

**Groups will be charged $10 for AV setup per event session.

Conference Room

Meetings in the conference room do not need to be open to the public. The room can be rented to organizations, groups or an individual. Availability of the conference room is dependent on staff use.

 

Food served to the public must be prepared in, or purchased from licensed facilities (store bought items are fine). A temporary food license may be obtained from the City of Laramie.
