Health and Safety Procedures:

The health and safety of our staff and community continue to be our top priority. We will be taking extra steps to protect our community’s health and will be asking for your help in the process.

Here’s how ACPL is helping to keep our community safe and healthy:

  • Staff will wear masks and gloves when handling items.

  • High touch areas will be sanitized frequently.

  • Returned materials will be quarantined for at least 72 hours.

  • Staff will not report to work if feeling unwell.

  • No more than 10 people including staff will be allowed in the room at any given time.

Here’s how you can help to keep our community safe and healthy:

  • You will need to wear a face covering while in the library.

  • Please sanitize your hands as you enter the building.

  • We request that only one member of a household enter the library to pickup items.

  • Don’t come in if you are sick. Call the library instead to figure out how you can receive your items.

  • Library staff will keep count of the number of people in the pickup area. Staff may ask you to wait outside if there are already 10 people in the room.
